• Going to work on Jail Population Issue: A new state Supreme Court commission charged with reviewing the inmate population in state prisons and regional jails is expected to have its first meeting before the end of the month. State Supreme Court Administrator Steve Canterbury says the commission isn't charged with finding answers for all of the issues, but rather conducting a review of what has and hasn't worked and what may work in the future.
